Why Our Name?
- Serepein: A Pohnpeian word meaning "girl" or "young woman".
Originating from the Micronesian island of Pohnpei. Sometimes used in cultural contexts and by jewelry brands to empower Micronesian women to proudly wear their heritage. It is distinct from the Kosraean word for girl.
